The ordinary local church is a mixed and motley gathering of strange men and women. The ordinary local church, with all its imperfections, weaknesses, oddities, and problems, has within it the seeds of the spiritual and relational blueprint of a broken world remade.

We Are Part of God's Family

You may not realize this, but in Jesus, you’ve been brought into God’s family. The implications of this reality of the Gospel is one that we shouldn’t move past too quickly. We are going to take some time to linger on what it means to be a part of God’s family in this session.

At Via Church, this affects the way we view our entire communal life as a congregation. Our expectations become more properly framed as we consider our church not as an organization, or business, or charity, or social club, etc., but as a family that God has brought together.
